I've learnt sooo much from MN about ... just everything! But sometimes I need more than The DogHouse ifswim 😂

Do any of you use a good forum? (Bit like H&H but for dogs lol)

Thanks/woof woof

I would suggest searching Facebook for a breed specific group. I found Boderfest ( for Border Terrier owners) has been very helpful and supportive.

Hi what sort of ‘specifics’ are you interested in?
I used to be in a reactive dog group if that is relevant, the pp mentioned breeds, Im also pretty sure you can find forums about man trailing, scent work and agility if you hunt.
It really depends what you are looking for.

Champ dogs have a forum which I used to use but I don’t think it’s very busy now

DancefloorAcrobatics · 06/08/2025 11:02

I second Facebook. It seems to be a go to for doggy people!

Champdogs used to be great, a wealth of information but i had a query recently and went to use it, having not visited it for 8 years or so and it’s now very very quiet, which is a shame.

However, if you had a particular question the search feature might throw something up from a few years ago?

Equally Labrador forums uk used to be very busy- I used it so much when we got our first in 2007! It is much quieter than before but there is still some activity. The guy who is now the admin/moderator is a lovely lovely chap, so much info he gives freely. I’ve met him a few times at eye clinics he organises (for health testing), and he’s ever so nice.

I've seen https://www.facebook.com/groups/dogtrainingadviceandsupport/?locale=en_GB recommended on here many times.

If you have a gundog, the Ladies Working Dog Group on FB is very good.

Or Gundog Training for Novices, which has some quite H&H vibes and is (predictably) focused on getting your dog, and you, out into the field.

There actually is a dog forum on Horse and Hound. It’s called All About Dogs and is quite busy and often very useful.

Facebook breed groups are very popular. I’d start there ☺️
