Crufts with children

Am I crazy to consider going to Crufts with two children (9 and 3)? DH would be there too and we'd be going in the Saturday to see the gundogs.

I'm assuming that taking a pushchair would be a nightmare and on that basis probably not doable for us with a 3yo who wouldn't be able to walk all day.

Saturday and Sunday are always the busiest days but don’t let that put you off. Yes, there will be bottle necks with volume of people but take the pushchair and enjoy your day. Just remember to get from one hall to the other, it can be quicker to leave and reenter rather than walk all the way round. Hall 1 to 5 works this way.

Get there early and head to discover dogs and then wander before lunch. Find a spot and take a picnic if you like. Try and get seats for the main arena. If the queue for the loo is short just go. They can be really long. Ask the owners before you touch any dog. Most of all have a lovely day. Stop by the cocker spaniel ring and come say hello!

Thank you! I'd ruled it out but maybe I'll reconsider. I've wanted to go for years. I'd probably rather go without the children but that's not going to happen!

Just be prepared for it being busy. Particularly from mid morning onwards. If you are there for opening you’ll get a wee bit done before the masses.

Does anyone have the smooth radio discount code for Crufts this year? Thanks
