If your pooch has a puddle accident in reception at thd vets, what's the etiquette here?

New puppy owner to be here - this has cropped up know conversation. Obviously any poops would be covered with poop bag provisions ..... but a puddle ???

Ask for cleaning supplies and clean it up, it's that simple

I always brought puppy pads with me just incase when DPup wasn’t yet fully toilet trained.

Tell the receptionist, they'll give you some blue towel and find the rest of the cleaning kit.
It is quite a common occurrence with puppies.

The vets will be used to puddles in reception and will have kitchen towel and spray handy.

Normally one of the receptionists leaps out with a bucket and mop - it happens all the time, especially with puppies or ill/stressed dogs. I give mine a walk around the car park first, to try to encourage them to go, but you can't always account for sudden panics...
