Hi. Dear dog hates going to the groomers and the price keeps going up and up. Do I need to invest in a very expensive set or anyone got a cheaper one that does the trick?
He’s small dog - 8kg and cairn/ jack Russell cross so not too complex.
thanks

I have this Oneisall one, rechargable. I find it perfectly adequate though they’re in long coats so it doesn’t get used all over for a full clip, just hygiene bum clips & underneath in summer to keep them cooler. Don’t see why it wouldn’t cope with a full clip on a small dog,it’s very user friendly. I also have one of the tiny paw clippers which I wouldn’t be without.
these are they

I have Andis and have previously had Wahl (both corded). Both are fine. I have the Wahl stainless steel combs.

I also have a little cordless 'trimmer' which is invaluable, especially for a little dog, for paws, face, ears, butt etc.

Many thanks all. Really helpful. @TillyandFlorence which wahl did you have?

It was an old model but similar to the KM5. I have two dogs and it was perfectly fine to do them.
