I've got a golden who sheds a lot.

I've had a shark cordless hair wrap for 3 years, lately it gets clogged every time I used is -
Clogs happen through out the hoover. I'm so unhappy about it right now.

Anyone recommend a better hoover? What about the green pet one?

I bought the green pet Henry about 10’years ago. It’s a pain in the arse. It gets blocked occasionally and due to the structure it’s hard to find where the blockage is to sort it out. I’ve had to change the head a couple times. The plastic pipe that connects to the head has spilt and has been duct taped multiple times. The tube feeding into the actual hoover has come off so many times that it’s been gorilla glued to within an inch of its life and even a nuclear bomb couldn’t get it off now. It does somersaults down the hall if you slightly pull it in the direction it’s not facing. I’ve bought all these new hoovers with the intention of throwing the green out, but nothing compares to it. Despite buying multiple other hoovers, we have two eufys going alternately all day (ridiculous amount of pets), plus portable anti wrap sharks, whenever there’s a really bad mess to be cleaned up (tipped a full bag of rat sawdust or all dogs going through shedding season), and someone will declare bring out the PROPER (green Henry) hoover which I’m so glad I kept 😂

I have three dogs and love my green Henry, best pet hoover I've ever had but we do live in a bungalow, might not be so keen if I had to lug it up stairs.

I have a golden - cordless are useless with the amount of hair they shed. We have the Shark corded anti hair wrap and it’s brilliant.

Vax pet hair.

As previous posters I now have a Henry. I've had sharks, dysons and a range of others. I find hoovers with bags the most effective and hard wearing when it comes to pet hair.

We gave a golden and have hard floors in two rooms downstairs with a couple of rugs. I bought Vileda Pet Broom with rubber bristles. It picks up hair on floor and rugs into a big ball. Better than a vac, but our rooms are small. And it cost £15.

The only one I haven’t broken within months is a Henry. Our latest one is about 4 years old and still going strong.

Waste of time getting anything with a filter if you have dogs unless you enjoy unwrapping it constantly.

Bosch's Pet vacuum is soooo gooodd, my DH bought it for me last year and it worked really well with our Labrador too!! It's cordless too so when we take doggo in the car we can clean up after too which is great :) Would recommend x

We have a golden, granted she is a puppy at the moment so not a huge amount of shedding, but we also have 2 cats who normally shed a lot. I use a robot vacuum twice daily, also use my Henry during weekly deep cleans. I’ve found using a Groomi tool regularly reduces the amount of hair flying around and there’s a lot less hair in the robot vacuum once it’s finished.
