Puppy's jabs coming up ... any advice or tips?

Just that. Pup is 11 weeks and is re-starting his jabs with the first next week.

So far he's visited the vet's twice and due to lots of lovely fuss and no invasive or painful things it's been a very positive experience for him.

So any tips or advice? He's also a real wriggler 😳

Don't sweat it. Don't make a fuss. Don't coddle him. Just act normal. The more of a fuss you make about routine things (walking past bins, people in hats, going to the vets, getting in the car etc) the more a dog worries. If you need to, hold some chicken in front of his nose so he doesn't wiggle - but don't overdo it.

You need to pay the pup tax though - picture please 😁

Apologies ... puppy tax as requested ... sorry picture looks dodgy but I don't know how to remove background (my revolting but one-of-a-kind carpet is highly outing so I've had to turn him into a sticker!

So we did as suggested and he was an absolute trooper! Not at all fazed and got so much love and fuss from everyone I think the vets os one of his top days out still

None of my dogs have ever cared much about jabs. They find the kennel cough up the nose a bit irritating but a nice sneeze sorts it. I’m sure your pup will barely notice the injections.

Glad it went well. My 12 year old loves the vets, it's definitely one of his favourite places - which is lucky as we're there fairly often!
