Hello my fabulous Podsquad, here is Podcast Thread III.

For anyone that is new to this thread, it's about my rescue dog, known as Pod.

for if anyone would like to go back and see how astonishingly naïve and traumatised I was by taking on a fully grown, teenaged pointy dog who seemed determined to destroy me and everything I love.

Theatrics over, here is the Pod in question (obviously I've edited the lead out - I'm not mental).

I, as someone who lurks on this thread, love 6, but wow, your back/shoulders/arms look fantastic in 2!!! 😍

I took Pod to the doggy playpark this afternoon and he took off after a Spaniel. I ran up the hill in the sunshine calling his name (to show willing to the other owner, you know, there was no way he was going to come back) but I realised two thirds of the way there that there was no way could keep up the pace and had to settle into a shuffling jog and a feeble croak. By the time I reach the old boy and his Spaniel (both of whom were extremely friendly) I was completely winded and he had a good laugh at me. I saw him in the carpark on the way out and he called, "You feeling a bit fitter yet?", cheeky ol' git.

Yes please to a thread 4, I need my daily 'Pod fix'

How else will we see the wedding photos 🤔 I mean Pod photos.

Yes please to a 4th thread! I’d miss Pod if there were no more threads. I love following his and your progress. My DH isn’t on Mumsnet but he’s been following along too because I’ll read some posts out to him, tell him about Pod’s latest (mis)adventure or show him the photos.

There definitely has to be a 4th thread. I love reading your posts and seeing pictures of beautiful Pod.

Chat GPT has Pod figured out

My friend has a Romanian rescue dog, pointer ish, and he grumbles all the time, you'd think he was growling but actually he's just chatting to you! He has a special groany grumble for when he's being stroked in the right way 💕

He was being so funny yesterday, basking in the sun til he was panting like a train then moaning loudly because he was too hot.

After much deliberation, I have selected a nicer food for him going forward. He liked the sample pack and didn't have any dramatic poop effects. It scores 75% on All About Dog Food so hopefully a better choice for him without bankrupting myself.

It's so cute and a bit heartbreaking to see his little street dog characteristics coming out here and there. If I put his breakfast down too early for him, he stands next to it looking really worried and making burying movements with his nose. Because he's not hungry yet but he's worried if he leaves it without burying it someone will steal it. So I put it on the windowsill by his bowls so he knows it's there and he can check on it if he wants to. My sweet boy.

💔Poor street dog Pod. I’m glad that he has a home with you and is loved and pampered.

Dress 2 gets my vote.

Cute pic of the street dog… Our rescue cat was like that with his food - leaping on anything we were eating ourselves till he finally realised he was actually going to get fed every single day! ☺️
