Indoor games

It’s snowing here and ChenDog is not a fan of going outside in this weather - our walk this morning lasted around 5 minutes before he set off home 🙄 What indoor games do you do on days like this? He has chewy things, we play go find, hide and seek, practise cues, tug, touch the ball/other toy but need some inspiration.

Treats or kibble pieces hidden in the folds of a pile of towels always goes down a treat with PuzzleDog (he's also not the smartest boy so it keeps him busy for AGES – may not be the case with yours!)

Teach him new commands? Puzzle games are all well and good but, actually, your dog can never be too well trained.

Teach him perfect walk to heel. Teach him his commands using only small hand signals. Or teach him tricks.

Sorry, should have said we also do treats hidden in cardboard boxes and tied up tea towels.

Good idea re new tricks - I’ll have a look online. He can do a few but there’s a few I’ve been meaning to try.

Check out the two bowl game and movement puzzles. Think Susan Garrett might have something on YouTube, she calls it Vito's game.
