Hello!
we have a border terrier cross who is 14.5 years old.
She has cushings and takes Vetoryl.
she had pancreatitis in March but not too badly although it took a while to get her eating again.
Now, every 10 days or so she wakes with a gurgling tummy- really loud, won’t eat, is clearly uncomfortable and eats grass, tries to make herself sick, eventually has a very upset tummy then starts to feel better, is hungry and we carry on!
The last 2 weeks this has happened more frequently. She’s not been interested in food as much, but also at times is really hungry.
she goes to my friend while I work, just once a week and normally loves it but hasn’t been as keen to go and is subdued, doesn’t want to eat when she’s there.
Also if I go out she normally sleeps downstairs and it at the door when she hears the car. Recently I keep finding her upstairs, long facing into a bedroom in the dark which is odd.
We have a vet appointment on Monday but I’m quite worried as this feels like a deterioration, although at times she’s fine too.
She does sleep for about 21 hours a day now too but she’s been that was for a while.
Any thoughts?
