GSD puppy ears!

Met a little puppy this morning, on its third day out so a real baby. Why has no one ever told me before about GSD puppy ears? They were so adorable, completely flopped over so far they were crossing over each other. Such a cutie, huge paws, floppy ears, I was bewitched!

One of our GSD had one floppy ear until he was almost 1. One stood upright, the other flopped over. They say not to play with their ears until they've built up the strength, and I believe some breeders put some kind of tape on the end of them to encourage them to point, but we were just owners rather than breeders/show people and just left them to do their thing!

Sadly lovely floppy ears can be the downfall for some dpuppies.. When some barbaric twats cut them off...

You forgot the floofyness of the longer haired ones ! All that floof with floppy ears and huge paws 💛

Our GSD’s puppy ears flopped in all directions when he was teething. At one point they both flopped forwards and crossed over each other so when he concentrated on something it looked as though he was wearing a peaked cap. 😂

GSD ears are the best. They go from cute and floppy to looking adorably too big for their heads until they grow into them.
