He's gone

He got really sick 2 weeks ago and the vet felt it was heart issues but he lost 1kg and we decided enough was enough. 15 wonderful years.

He's not even my dog. He's my mums dog but I went with her and my dog licked his head as he was put to sleep.

I know he was old and sick but you never expect it to be the day.

It was surprising how fast he went if I'm honest, I think he was ready? I wasn't going to take my dog but the vet thought it would be best.

He was a good boy and he had a bounty celebration just before (poor bastard getting the bounty one)! The vet has a little sign saying 'no dog should go to heaven without trying chocolate' they also cleared the waiting area out so we didn't have to walk through dogs on the way home.
