Dog neglect

Please can anyone advise me on what to do. My husband has got a dog, he never walks the dog or even bath the dog, the dog poohs everywhere in the house I have to come back from work
to clean up the mess everyday . His had this dog for about 7 years now. I have suggested to rehome the dog and he refuses and has used the children against me to black mail me into keeping the dog other than we have any problems in our marriage. Thanks for any advice

How has he used the children against you?
Sounds like the dog isn’t toilet trained or is left too long. His dog. He cleans up.

You have a husband problem which is bigger than the dog problem. I'd refuse to clear up after his dog. Don't enable it. Our dog had diarrhoea on a run when I was out, my wife rolled it up and left it for me when I got home.

The RSPCA will likely see you as just as responsible for the dog as your husband, given that you're married and living in the same house as it.

The RSPCA won't do anything. The dog is being fed and has a roof over its head. Is there any way you could look after the dog?

The poor dog! Is anyone walking it and loving it? After 7 years it’s a family dog so either you get everyone involved in its care or you take it to a rescue so it can find a caring home that it deserves. The poor animal is not a pawn in your marriage problems.

Ridiculous post, it's not your dhs dog it's a family dog.

If your dh is useless then either you walk it or you pay someone to walk it.
