Anyone else sitting up/sleeping with their dog in the small hours for dog's health reasons?

Just thought there might be a few of us sleeping or not, ours is an oldish lab, damaged an ankle but also arthritis, meds are working but still is only on 3 legs, so we are downstairs together 😊

Yes, I'm awake with my dog. She's got a vet appointment this morning as she's got a raspy, chesty cough. She'll be 15 in May.

I was awake most of last night as she could barely move, I was lucky to be able to sleep a bit during the day and caught up a bit this night just now. She's making herself move now for important labrador stuff like food, rather than letting me bring it to her, and is doing well at detecting and spitting the pills out...

@Runforhome Hope yours is recovering a bit.

@PixieDog1 Wishing you so very well with the vet appointment.

Thank you for your kind words, vet app. was ok. Steroid injection and back on Monday to see if it's worked. They suspect asthma. (could have been worse)
