DD is 9 and a basset fauve de bretagne. She is normally very laid back and quite detached, more like a cat in temperament than a dog. For the last couple of weeks, she has been intermittently getting very anxious and agitated, and crying. She sits in front of me shifting from paw to paw, panting and with a crazy look in her eye. Nothing I do comforts her. Between these episodes she is her normal self. Any thoughts as to what might be causing it?
