Grooming a spaniel myself

Has anyone got any tips or video recommendations on how to go about this please?

I have an 8 month old working cocker spaniel, who I want to keep natural looking, but he has ridiculously hairy legs. They look gorgeous when he's freshly combed, but they're soaking wet after every walk and usually full of grass seeds and sticky buds.

I was let down by a groomer this morning, so have come home and ordered some clippers 😱.

I do my springer spaniel myself. Decent scissors are more use than clippers, in my experience.

There are loads of dog grooming videos online on YouTube . Some are professional groomers who give demonstrations on how to do it yourself
