Is this reasonable to ask dog food company for

My dog is on a food subscription so all her food for the month comes at once. It’s wet food and it comes in trays. There are seven small compartments in each tray, and she has three of those compartments a day. It isn’t particularly cheap. She needs to eat small amounts regularly. On numerous occasions a number of the compartments have been a third to half empty. I don’t want to complain but she is a small dog and could start to feel ill if she doesn’t eat enough and the amounts in the compartments aren’t much anyway. I don’t expect to be fully reimbursed for the entire order every time and I’m not sure what would be reasonable but maybe a few extra trays. Not sure if I can ask for that?

Yes I would notify them and see what they say!

I recently had an issue with butternut box - they didn’t have one flavour in and said they’d top it up with another. They did not and I was down four pouches. They apologised and issued a refund there and then!

I would definitely ask and if they say no, find another company. I’d also take videos as proof when you open them (otherwise they may claim that you’ve already given her some!)

Have you checked the weight of them? Their normally sold on weight, not volume.

I contacted them about it and their response was that it’s the fault of the courier where they’ve been putting the boxes on their sides to fit in more boxes

Time to find a new supplier.

At the beginning of the year Bella & Duke changed their packaging slightly. I get 40 tubs per delivery and a third to half of them were arriving split. I contacted them 3 months running and they refunded me for all the split packets each time without any problems. They've sorted the issue now but also sent me a month free for all the messing about.

They communicated brilliantly, and I was so happy with them. I felt such a nuisance but with it being raw I was so unsure about feeding it him because you never know.
They didn't blame the courier once, they just worked hard to sort the issue.
I'd be disappointed with your companies response. If it's the courier, surely they should be contacting them to ensure they pack it correctly?
