I thought I might as well be the one to start the new thread! Nothing to report but a sleepy puppy over here.

Aaargh! Gotta go. Apparently we're too old to be here. For some reason I thought Bill was older than Brie but I've just realised he's not. So we're moving up to High School now with all the adolescent puplets. Bye chaps. Have fun 😃

YorkshireFelix · 07/10/2024 20:31

@PyreneanAubrie we will miss you! I'm lurking on the other thread because I enjoy reading about all your pups but we will join you in a few months time...

I'll still drop in to see how you're all doing here but I'll put all my Brie waffle and pics on the other thread now she's a big mature lady 😉We'll see you in a bit

Bupster · 07/10/2024 20:46

@PyreneanAubrie are you not straddling both threads like Bill and I? I was hoping someone would fish us out if we slipped between them 😄
I'm on both as I know full well young Billiam will become a spotty teen before I know it and I want to be prepared. But technically he's a pup for another few months at least... surely Brie's only a big fluffy baby too?

He is also an absolute liability. I was so pleased I’d got him out for a last wee tonight without ten minutes of negotiation (he’s knackered) that I just smiled at him liberating an apparently empty flowerpot to bring in. Until halfway up the stairs when he chucked all the compost out.

I was muttering to myself cleaning it up about selling him for kebabs, but I’ve just spent five minutes sat on the floor laughing so hard I’m crying while he wiggles round in absolute delight with a pot stuck on his head 😄😄

@Bupster
She's only just turned 6 months last week so definitely at the in between stage. I can be on both threads for now I suppose.
At home she's like an adult. On a walk she is full-on idiot puppy.

😂😂😂

Thank you, this has really cheered me up. Nice one, Bill 😘

JessiesHuman · 07/10/2024 21:33

What is it about plastic plant pots @Bupster ? Zeus has loads of toys but his favourite things are a plant pot and a plastic water bottle!

YorkshireFelix · 07/10/2024 21:36

Vinny goes absolutely FERAL for plastic water bottles!!

Bupster · 07/10/2024 21:39

The more I laughed, the more he wiggled - you know that thing where they’re so happy their whole little body wags? Which set me off laughing even more. I’m surprised we’ve actually managed to get off the floor 😄

and this is why I have a flowerpot in my bed 🙄

Zeus's backside wags so much when he's walking I feel he should be a member of Right Said Fred 😂

brushingboots · 07/10/2024 22:06

@YorkshireFelix @PyreneanAubrie happy to admit that I am still lurking on here and madam is definitely far too old, but it's a nice place and I am here for any and all pup chat or to receive any official Spaniel Man complaints

Oh Bill! Gorgeous lunatic

Poor little bug was absolutely frantic in the car this morning - chewing on the seats, the seatbelt, my coat. I don't know what to do for him. It breaks my heart to see him that distressed. It's only a 15 minute journey.

So sorry, it must be horrible seeing him get so anxious 😞and he's otherwise such a happy little chap and so full of fun...

YorkshireFelix · 08/10/2024 14:00

@Bupster gosh I'm sorry, it must be so tough! I wish I could suggest something to help Sad

YorkshireFelix · 08/10/2024 14:04

I fear I am becoming more Spaniel Man by the day. Babies first canvas dummy!

@YorkshireFelix Embrace it! Just don't go the whole way. Does he love it? I can also recommend a rabbit ball too if he finds it too much to begin with.

Yes he loved it! I got a snipe dummy and it seems the right size for now. He is now completely pooped snoozing in bed!

Bupster · 08/10/2024 17:41

He was so much better on the way home, thank God. Still whimpering but not frantic, and had a lovely hour with his besties at the dog park. And home for some gardening 🙄

Oh bless him, he does love holding things in his mouth doesn’t he 😂

PyreneanAubrie · 08/10/2024 18:01

@Bupster
Awww, that's so sweet, he's such a cutie with his love of gardening items😘

brushingboots · 08/10/2024 18:08

Just gone out on the unpopular ‘walk’ to go rabbiting and as I got dressed I thought of you two, @YorkshireFelix @PyreneanAubrie. (And if I haven’t outed myself sufficiently by this point I will have now)

Ah, you're going full-on Spaniel Woman today then! Jolly good 😉

(I don't suppose now is a good time to admit to being a vegetarian...😬)

YorkshireFelix · 08/10/2024 18:30

I am also a veggie @PyreneanAubrie 😄

@brushingboots I hope you're wearing a flat cap too to top it all off!

@Bupster glad the journey home wasn't as awful. He is too cute with his little watering can!
