Muck boots

I did post this on Style & Beauty but think it's more related to dog walking!

I have a pair of muck boots which are probably around 5 years old. Only problem is both inside heel areas have worn away leaving me with blisters when I walked yesterday. Has anyone managed to get these repaired or can recommend liners which would fit? I'm reluctant to buy a new pair unless really necessary.

Thanks in advance.

How about those stick on heel cushions? I've used them in trainers where the back lining has gone and they've lasted ages, they're really sticky.

Which bit of the heel? Underneath your foot? I'd probably pack it a bit with fabric to even out and then stick an insole on top

This kind of thing - amzn.eu/d/etPvlGh

Thanks both it's the back of my heel rather than underfoot. Those heel cushions look good I may give them a go.

@kgal I have exactly the same issue and was going to Chuck mine! Infuriating as they are still good in all other ways!

Thanks for posting this, and to the other poster for those heel guard thingys!

Couple of quid compared to over £100 - it's worth a try 😃

A roll of moleskin tape will probably do the job.

OldSpeclkledHen · 15/09/2024 14:54

I've tried duck tape... that just peeled off 😭

I've ordered the heel cushions so fingers crossed!
