Mini daschund spayed but bleeding

Worried about my girl. She’s 7, spayed 6 years ago. She’s been spotting red blood from her vagina for 4 days. Saw vet today who was a bit flummoxed. No urinary symptoms and no signs of infection. Any ideas?

Did he do any swabs or bloods?

She try that the vet didn't have much of a clue. What investigations did they do?

Just checked for signs of infection, tender tummy etc. offered abx, but said infection unlikely. I didn’t want to give abx straight off as she has colitis and I do t want to risk a flare if I can avoid it.

Woukd using the antibiotics and giving her a little live yoghurt be an option?
