Does anyone have a HiK9 bed (or an equally good equivalent)? The reviews are mixed on trustpilot but I need something that can't be destroyed easily and won't smell!
Thanks

Love HiK9 beds.

We have cosy toppers sleeves on ours. You can hoover under the beds and even hoover the beds really easily.

So easy to wash no smells at all every. The best beds we have ever had.

One of them must be at least 12 years and still going strong.

Sometimes the stock is low which can be annoying if you want a specific colour topping.

Our oldie lab has just got a sheepskin topper which he adores.

I have found them great for dogs as they get older as they are supportive and easy to get in and out off. Non of our puppies have destroyed them either (might be down to the puppies though!)

I have used the beds with labs collies and wcs.

I have 4 in the house in use right now Smile

One of our dogs likes to curl up in a tight circle and he prefers a bed with deep sides but he is the only one who actively prefers a different style of bed. (he does happily share the HiK9 bed so he can lie against another dog instead)

Thanks for replying. We currently have a plastic bed with a waterproof quilted bed inside but it smells as he forever getting into it damp (he has semi long hair). He does curl up in it but in the room without a bed he lies flat out on the floor.

He is also slowly chewing up his current fabric bed so I need to invest in something new.

We have one. Dog loves it particularly in summer, seems very comfortable. It's a couple of years old and looks like new, very easy to wash down. For winter we have a fleece topper which washes well. Our dog does prefer her other beds with sides so we'll be getting her a nest topper.

Ours arrived wonky and needed quite a lot of force to make it lie flat.

They could chew fabric over the frame but the metal probably wouldn't feel very nice, there are some designed more for kennel use which have the fabric edge protected by the frame . My dogs liked being off the floor and found it comfortable as it's got some give like a hammock. I didn't buy a topper just put some rubber backed vetbed over the top. Mine is canvas type and years old, its not been that portable like for camping as has involved quite a bit of swearing and extra hands to get the cover over the frame, but it's light to lug out to the garden in summer.

The only thing I dislike is the way the legs curve out past the bed as makes me prone to tripping over it, whereas a cheapo one from Aldi or Lidl (with the sunshade) the legs were in line with edge of bed this was less of a problem. However the Aldi one was poor quality the cover failed within a year of just occasional use where stitched a mesh insert and like many other raised beds on the market the cover had the corners missing which is a risk for a paw slipping down the gap which could cause injury whereas the Hi-k9 cover is thankfully solid with no gaps.

Honestly in the top 3 of best purchases for our lab. He's just over 12 months old and chews/destroys most beds/mats but this has been absolutely fine from a few weeks old. It's also been fabulous for teaching boundary too. It's a big recommendation here at Haribo Towers!

I’ve got an Amazon basic one for my very large dog. It’s great.

One of my Goldens loves it. Thoroughly recommend
