A few years ago someone on here gave me the tip to check out Toad Hall Cottages for the UK and that was great advice.
Already planning next summer hols, thinking we might try France with the car + dog. Having been notoriously under prepared for holidays most of DC's lives I want to try and change this while they still want to go away with us and book soon.
If I could dream: 2 h max from Calais, self catering, walking distance to town/village, walking distance to dog friendly beach. Pool would be amazing. No camping/glamping, I want a cottage or villa.
