Whippet - 'heat pants' help

Mammyofonlyone · 07/08/2024 15:26

Hi

My whippet is in season for the first time since we acquired her and is unfortunately marking sofas, flooring, etc. I'm looking to buy her some pants but the ones I have tried so far don't fit her shape at all. If anyone can recommend a brand that suits a whippet's build it would be great. TIA

Our miniature poodle is very skinny, nothing covered the necessary. In the end We covered everything in towels. She’s now spayed, thank goodness.

Just cover things. It washes out.

I really wouldn't, they increase the risk of infection - just put old towels down.

Our Whippet had to have one season before being spayed {I couldn't bear to have puppies from her, {ideally at age 4 yrs} wonderful though she is, as the re-homing would be so emotionally hard} - I had old towels and a cheap washable cotton cover that I binned afterwards- Our girl, though slim and tiny made a mess only when she woke up after being asleep - but being spayed is great- she far prefers it as not hassled by males.
