Dog likes to chew, but buries all the chewy things I buy!

He used to love buffalo twists and pigs ears, but in last few months (he’s 12 months) all he does is trot anything out to the garden and bury, or buries it behind cushions in the house. And never chews it.

Instead he chews rope toys, but I’m not keen on him eating g the string bits. I’ve tried harder chewy things, different animal things. He is not at all interested in yak chews.

any suggestions?

Bury the treat for him to find - a bed or toybox works well. My dog does this occasionally but she doesn't if we hide it first ;)

My dog does this, not with all things eg doesn't bury her yak but a lot of other long lasting chew type things, if she can get them to the garden she'll bury them there if not, down the sofa, sometimes digs them up at bedtime!
I'll try burying them for her to find..
