Hi all!
Im thinking of a new patio to replace our disgraceful DIY one.
We have large/giant breed dogs and have a fence across half of the patio to stop dogs from digging the lawn and dragging in mud during winter. The dogs go to the toilet on it in winter and I also hose them off on it and sweep mud down the drains.
Im thinking of a natural stone, possibly Indian sandstone or historic flags. Another option is block paving but I’m unsure about how many weeds I would have to pick out.
Has anyone got any of the above who can tell me if any of the materials will stain badly? I don’t really want to spend £8-£10k to have dog wee stains on it instantly. I presume shiney porcelain would look a mess in a day with plate size muddy paws…
