How can it easier for my my sweet cockapoo. I have never left her before. My cockapoo is due to have a trial night tonight, but we go away in 4 weeks time (tonight was only available date) for a week. She normally sleeps on our bed so we have been trying to train her to sleep in own bed so easier for them. I am super anxious about leaving her. I know she will be fine and cared for, but I am worried she will not settle. Is the first night the hardest? She is fine being left at home but obviously new surroundings and people plus other dogs maybe be an adjustment for her.

Our loves It, it gives him the chance to be with other dogs which more than makes up for not having us. Doesn’t like being borrowed by friends with no dogs though, which would be much cheaper!

Is it a dog kennel or home boarder?

Mine sleeps on our bed but at the home boarder sleeps on the sofa and he seems fine with different rules at different places.

Don't worry if your dog seems a bit confused when she gets home. Mine used to be like that but it's just that his routine was changed and nothing to do with going to the boarder as he also goes there for daycare and it's like a second home which he pulls my arm off to enter.

And yes it's worse for you than them.

Over 7 years on I hate leaving him even though he's having a great time. I just miss him more than I think he misses me.
