Anyone use a de shedding brush thing?

I've seen the ads for a while and now it's summer and the fur is flying, I'm tempted. But he's a terrier, short haired so not sure if it will do anything as I don't think he's got an undercoat per se.

Slightly different in that I use mine on cats, one short haired, one long with undercoat. It's amazing on longhaired one but does make a difference in shedding on short haired cat too. Would recommend

I use a rubber brush on short coated dogs when I'm grooming them. It really grips the loose hair and helps to remove it without it being uncomfortable for them.

Something like a Kong Zoom Groom is probably your best bet.
