Going on holiday- how bad will it be?

Our first holiday abroad since getting GeorgiePup and we waited until we found the perfect person to look after him. He's 4 now and has epilepsy so it's a big deal to leave him.

He's been going regular for settling in and so she can get to know him and we trust her implicitly, he loves her so much!

He's obviously very attached to us and he is our world.... how bad is it going to feel to leave him?

Our ddogs absolutely love their holiday in the kennels... At home we get rubbish photos as they refuse to sit still.. Kennel lass is amazing with them.. I am sure your ddog will be having it's own spa week end!.

Our Ddog has a delightful time when we’re away, I spend much time worrying about him and get lots of photos of him having a whale of a time 😂he’s pleased to see us when we get back but I think he enjoys his holidays too. You’ll feel guilty though, it’s par for the course I’m afraid!

My biggest guilt is that so far we've always collected him the same day, he's going to be so confused when we don't come back!

Our little dog is very attached to us all but when we take him to the dog home boarder he always pulls to be let in. It’s like a mini break for him he loves the human and dog friends that he spends time with. He sleeps for about 2 days after his holiday!

Our dog loves it too

Dogs are very adaptable and very rarely worry about things. As long as he gets fed, has walks and fuss, he’ll probably be absolutely fine. Ours wags his tail for the lady at the kennels far more than for us, and he often refuses to get in the car when it’s time to go home.

Mine is also very attached, and has had 2 home boarders he absolutely loves and goes racing in tail wagging. They live in the moment- sounds like yours is excellent so as long as they get love, food and walks they will be fine. And think how happy they will be when you come back!
