White spot in dogs eye

Has anyone ever seen this before my old lady has to white spots in her both her eyes. I have an appointment made at the vets for Friday but just wondering if I should be worried

Beginning of cholesterol deposits, l think. Mine had them in old age and l thought she was going blind with cateracts. Vet asked a colleague for a second opinion who confirmed diagnosis.
