Just that really. Pup is 10 weeks old and seems to prefer the cats toys 🤦🏻‍♀️

Mine prefers soft toys, you can get them with limited stuffing. He's got an octopus at the moment and whilst it's down to 5 legs, a pentopus?? it's lasting longer than most of his do. Kong do a low stuffing range that may be worth a look.

When our dog was a puppy, he loved a Kong teddy that he proceeded to eat. As he got older,, he moved to rope toys which he also ate. Now he just likes his snuffle balls or kongs. We have tried getting him more advanced toys e.g. jars he is supposed to tip over to get the treat out but he just ignores them. He is, however, very lazy and cba.

My dog loves her tennis balls for play but her favourite is her sheep that she's had since she was a very small puppy, she's now 13 years old.

I've bought loads of other toys over the years, thinking she should have some variety but without fail, she's played with them for a few minutes, bitten off the ears, if they have them, and/or the odd leg, then ignored them.

The sheep though, has never lost any of his ears or legs.

Despite having been chewed, humped and generally thrown around for nearly 13 years he's still in one piece, apart from a patch on one leg where her chewing got a bit too enthusiastic.

He's rather grubby and very loved.

Balls. Any kind of ball! Last Christmas dd2 bought him a bag of tennis balls and emptied them all over the floor. He thought he was in heaven!!

My littlest has a pink stuffed duck that’s bigger than she is so gets dragged along as she can’t carry it. They also have a smaller duck that’s so old it’s been dismembered but they still play with the bits…a torso, one leg, one foot. Ducky foot turns up all over the place 🙄.

Squeaky balls, which he's not allowed in the house as the noise drives me to distraction 😂

As a pup she would shred everything. But she’s a lab so has to carry something, usually our shoes. DS got fed up of searching for his trainers so he bought her a blue stuffed dinosaur which is now her pride and joy.
Her favourite pastime is chewing and shredding sticks. We nickname her the wood chipper and she is in seventh heaven currently because we have been clearing the garden of overgrown trees.
All are safe because the garden was planted with dogs and children in mind.
Her obsession with stick chewing worried me , but the vet said that it was probably a good way of cleaning her teeth. She does just chip the wood rather than chewing it. Does the same with cardboard boxes if given the opportunity.
Our first lab used to love carefully tearing a piece of paper into thin strips. It was the only thing she would steal, I did, on a few occasions, have to sellotape the odd bill back together.

If he likes cat toys then make sure you are getting small balls / toys for him as he is still so young x
