Chewing gum on paw

Hi all
anyone know the best method to clean chewing gum off a dogs paw?
I’ve managed to pull most off but there’s some stuck between his toes which is bothering him.

Could you hold an ice cube on it and it should come off easier?

Could you try oil?

Peanut butter works for chewing gum in human hair so should work on hairy paws.
