Dog boarding rates

I am a pet sitter and I do mainly boarding at home. I usually charge £40 per night. How much would you expect to pay for boarding 2 dogs (same client's dogs) per night? Would you expect a discount for the second dog, if yes what discount?

I used to pay £50 per night for ddog. If I had two I wouldn't pay £100, maybe £70.

My friend charges £30 per dog or 2 for £50, she definitely gives a discount for 2.

Mine charges an extra £10 for dog from the same home

I’m in Surrey - our overnight pet sitter in her home charges £25 per dog, per night.

atlaz · 30/04/2024 11:11

I've used a couple and both charge 25 for one dog and 35 for 2, 40 for 3 from the same household. Both are licensed to take a maximum of 3 dogs.

Thank you for your replies, will take all this on board 😎

Around her, boarders charge around £35 per dog, per night. Maybe with a slight discount for the second.

I do sitting in other people's homes and charge a minimum of £50 per 24 hours including an hour of exercise per day.

around here that would be extremely expensive unless it was for a special, high demand period eg Christmas/New Year/Bank holidays.

Going rate is about £30 per night. Midlands.

I am based in London (not suburb), hence the high rate
