Puppy name inspiration

We have a 1 year Beagle, and fingers crossed we have found him a playmate, another Beagle.

Coming up a bit blank with name ideas, would like something of a small list to be able to say 'oh his an X'

2 syllable, maybe something ending in a ie sound, first dog is Disney themed, something not too bland, currently have Gus or Defa as ideas but not sure on either hence feeling like it needs an ie sound.

Trevor - I think we definitely need more dogs called Trevor!

But, trying to stick a bit closer to your brief

• how much of him is brown? Hershey

Also:

• Loki (lord of misrule - maybe a bit too close to the bone?)
• Teddy (but call that and get about 3 extra dogs responding) ditto Toby
• Ziggy or Sigi
• Barkley (but perhaps a bit naff, unless you're ultramarathon runners)
• Humphrey (because it's a great name, but probably noy one a human could easily pull off)
• Gatsby (because he's great)

Not entirely sure on his true colouring, he is only 1 week old, another Beagle, so colour will develop over time.

We actually have a couple of the names you have suggested for our cats, which is amusing.

Was spit balling Disney male characters and came up with Sully or Ralph (ie).

@wetotteras a small child, I first heard the name Trevor when our neighbours moved in. Their dog was called Trevor. To this day, part of me thinks that Trevor is a dog's name! 😅

@lostingreyclouds Sorry your post wasn't there when I posted! Great minds think alike though! Only one name for a beagle it has to be snoopy!

@wetotter My husband's uncle is a Trevor.

@CaptainCarrot I'm not keen on Andy, not a massive fan of human names, we have a cat called Lennon so too close for Lenny.

I like Sunny, will add that to my list.

@Loopzy I suggested Ernie, but hubby is not keen.

@CheeseNcrackerz our current dog is Woody, and we have had a Duggee

We had a Pleco called Buzz so that kinds rules that one out, but I'm not fond of matching names, did it once, lost one and the half a matching name felt more painful some how.

As for Snoopy, I never really watched it so it not striking any feelers for me.
