We have had our rescue dog for almost a year. He's making progress, though slowly, and he's still a major escape artist, digger and chewer. We don't want to put him in kennels if we go away, but the logistics of a holiday with him won't be easy. Does anyone know of a dog-friendly cottage suitable for 2 adults and a big dog in a beautiful area, with a properly secure garden with 5ft+ fences with nothing climbable next to them (and no ponds/beautiful plants/statues - nothing too precious)? Bonus points if it's near a dog walking field that's properly enclosed, or even better a secluded cove-type beach that he might sometimes be able to play on alone if we went v early / late but couldn't escape from if we guarded the access path. We're thinking West Country/Gower/Pembrokeshire, but open to other options inc Scotland, outside school holidays.
