Insurance - PetPlan vs ManyPets

Looking at insurance for a new puppy and looking at lifetime cover, and I think PetPlan and ManyPets are the best two (happy to hear other suggestions). PetPlan is coming out significantly cheaper, but is there a reason? Do their premiums rise less each year because of this or are they much better? And how much cover do I need for a small non-working dog?

We were advised by our vet to go with Agria instead of PetPlan.. this definitely wasn’t biased information as it’s actually a practice that heavily promotes PetPlan, she just feels that Agria is the better option in terms of cost, ease of paying out etc and uses it for her own dogs
