Mobile dogwash- what happens?

Odd question I know. My regular, high st groomer has shut so I'm looking at options. Do mobile groomers need a power cord from my house or the use of my hose? Or are their trailers normally self contained?

When I've used a mobile groomer they have been self contained. They have their own water and power. They take the dog from the house and bring them back when they are done.

They're self-contained.

Our neighbours use one and honestly it's a PITA. It's loud, smelly and takes over the street for ages.

Thanks both. @lifebeginsaftercoffee We have a very large drive and frontage area, so they wouldn't need to park it near the street. Good point about noise though.

@DSD9472 my dog hates the nose and doesn't like walking past. May be a good idea to check your dog will be comfortable with it first!

The mobile groomer I called doesn't have a trailer at all. She washes the dog in my shower, then cuts and blow dries in the house! I assumed it would be cheaper, because its using my water/electric etc, but no- it would be more than the high st shop! 😕

I love my mobile groomer.

She has a van that she washes/cuts Ddog in but she does need to plug in to my house.

As we don't have off street parking it can sometimes be a very long extension cord. She is fast and it is so convenient-I love it!!

I am in SE and pay £35.
