Dog pulling out fur

Our dog has started plucking out patches of his fur, and I can't seem to stop him. Took him to vets a couple of months ago and it's not mites or a skin infection. Anybody had this? And if so what did you do?

Ask them to check for allergies. They can come on randomly in adulthood.

I would also say allergies. We had a dog who did this, and a change of diet and half a Piriton a day solved the problem.

It can also be stress - new baby in the house, change in schedule (I.e someone going back to work in the office), arguments etc.
