Does anyone have any suggestions for durable toys for my mini dashound. I've bought so many and he's chewed them all to pieces!!🤭🤭🤭

An empty, lid-less coke bottle. Hours of (noisy) fun.

Teasie123 · 16/02/2024 23:02

And no fur to choke on!! Cheers 🤗🤗🤗

We bought a Tonka ball from pets at home, it's lasted longer than anything else has. Our boy loves chewing it.

Kongs
Chuck-It balls
The "good boy" balls that light up when they bounce.

Nerf do ddog toys.. Even husky proof!

Second an empty bottle, our Border terrier pup loves playing with these. He can bite the wrapping off though, so we remove beforehand.

I have to say I do indulge my dogs need to destroy (I do have a needle and tough up upholstery thread ) we do buy tough fabric toys .We let her tear it up a bit put it away and sew it . Let her have it a few days later again .Until it gets repaired a final time and she is just left to un stuff and destroy at leisure .
We have never had anything of ours destroyed by our dogs . I do feel they should be indulged with their need to destroy .

@donteatthedaisies0 , only thing is I worry he ll choke. I have to stop him eating the fluff, loose string or even tiny bits of plastic from every toy I've got him. And believe me, he's had loads.

Cricket wind balls have been Jack Russell proof for us, not a lot else is! I got a few from Amazon, only the lawnmower kills them! Kong stuff us good too.

Teasie123 · 17/02/2024 15:42

@Thejackrussellsrule , thanks, I ll have a look now.🤗🤗🤗

The Kong Wubba range slows my pup down like no other toys. Mostly though I now give her cows tails to chew!

Teasie123 · 17/02/2024 21:15

@Nosepeas , cow tails!?🤭🤭🤭

Our giggle ball and boomer ball have proven to be indestructible. The Kong Teddy has held up pretty well, as has a really cheap bright orange plastic bone that seems to be her absolute favourite.
Antlers last a long time for us.

The “indestructible” dinosaur toy she got for Christmas lasted all of 5 minutes!

AuntiePathy · 17/02/2024 21:25

Fluff and Tuff toys are pretty robust.

Yes!! It's a real thing!! Dried. I figured a natural chew might be a good thing and she loves them but it's a whole new world to me.

That same day we also found out about bull pizzles Grin

NoodlesandDoodles · 17/02/2024 22:51

We found the great & small tough range to be good. We have the small gorilla and also the bat.

JR pets is our go to for chewing treats, they do a puppy starter selection I think from memory.
