Holly Barker nutrition on fb would be a good place to go.

Personally I buy bulmers raw and mix with veg, porridge, eggs, mackerel, eggs and yogurt (not all at the same time).

My old dog has turmeric paste and riaflex joint supplement.
My youngster has plaque off and dorwest skullcap and valerian supplements.

They are both at their correct weight and compete successfully in agility.

I'm sure they'll be lots more nutritional and creative suggestions but each week I cook and freeze mix ups to add to wet and dry food. I use turkey, chicken, pork or beef mince. Chicken or lambs liver and kidney. I use pasta, rice or sweet potato plus most veg except corn, onion, mushroom or sprouts.

I realise this is an old thread but it has just come up in my feed.
You shouldn’t be feeding onions raw cooked or in any form to dogs you should not feed any member of the allium family including garlic. You may get away with a small amount to a large dog but please please don’t deliberately add. It to home cooked food.

@Beautyfadesdumbisforever I think you have misread the previous post, it states “except” onions etc.

Sorry sorry sorry have just seen “except” really must wear my glasses.
I did wonder who in there right mind would feed sprouts!
