I've got a 9 week old cocker spaniel who will need to be carried for the next 3 weeks, and so I think I need a sling of some sort if anyone could recommend anything please.

I put our lab in a baby carrier that I had for the kids. It was an Ergo360

Simple ring sling will do. They're not strictly necessary but do help to take the weight off the shoulders/ arms. It's a great idea to get them out and about as soon as possible - we recommend this approach to all our new pup owners.

I got one off pets at home! Can’t remember which (they did them in blue and red) but it strapped my golden in great. If that slings can hold him they can hold a spaniel! Don’t go for something insanely expensive. There’s literally no point.

So glad to see someone not waiting to their dog is vaccinated to take them out to see the world.

beautiful puppy!

I got one from Amazon- pup seemed happy enough and she still fits in now at 14 weeks.
I’d buy again but probably a cheaper version!

Thank you so much everyone for your recommendations, they are most helpful and I think I will see what they have in Pets at Home cos then I can actually see them and see how Rosie fits

When my girl was tiny I just used to put her in my hoodie and zip it up.Saved money buying a sling she wouldn't be in for long and it worked really well. Maybe consider that.
