London based behaviouralist - recommendations?

Hi there, can anyone recommend a good behaviouralist based in South London? We have a very reactive little Cavalier spaniel who I think is just very anxious. We really need to get her some help as its becoming less and less manageable. Thanks in advance!

Speak to you vet and they will refer you to a qualified behaviourist.

Do not go to someone on the internet calling themselves a behaviorist as they probably are not one.

They need to have a MSC level of qualification in appropriate subject.

I Follow Louise Glazebrook who seems like a brilliant and ethical trainer and is London based. May be worth a look? She's a qualified behaviourist as mentioned above, although consulting your vet is also a great place to go as some trainers will only work on vet referral to confirm their isn't any pain which may be causing the behaviour.

Try South end dog training. On youtube, insta and in Essex.

http://familypaws.co.uk/ Emily was brilliant with our anxious, resource guarding cocker - she's in Chiswick so may be too far for you but she does online consultations too. Good luck

South End are a bit controversial, not all positive based training with those guys.

Agree to ask your vet for a referral to a reputable registered local person.

Dogs Trust also have a free Behaviour Support Line you can call and speak to trained people, they can also refer you to further behaviour support. We did one of their Reactive Dog School classes and that was helpful for managing my pup.
