Ideas for Gift for Lovely Vet Team

Hi all,
My gorgeous older boy was very ill with pancreatitis over the New Year period. We thought we would lose him.

Our vet hospital looked took great care of him, and he is now back to his regular self.

I would like to get a gift or gifts for the team at the hospital and looking for ideas. It would be shared between 8 or so staff, Vets, nurses and the lovely receptionists who dealt with my tears.

I noticed they have several boxes of fancy chocolates lying around reception, so hoping for something a little different. I did think about vouchers for a takeaway, for example, or a hamper of goodies. But what sort of goodies?

Any ideas as to what may be well received?

Photo tax included.

What a gorgeous boy, so glad he's feeling better!

I think your ideas are good - vouchers for a takeaway or similar could be good, especially if it's a vets practice that's open overnight/out of hours.

I do think they always appreciate a lovely handwritten card, maybe one with a picture of your dog, addressed to the team who cared for him.

You could also consider donating to them in support, if they're able to accept donations.

Thanks @Work2live , I will contact the head receptionist whom I know well and check out those options. Donating in support sounds like a lovely idea.

What a lovely boy, glad he's feeling better now!

I arranged with vets to order them pizzas on a quieter lunchtime which went down a storm so sure vouchers be useful. Unfortunately only the more expensive pizza franchises opened at that time locally but lot more food places offer delivery or on just eat/Uber etc now. I'm also friends with my vet and they were all having a hard time so wanted to give them a little boost.
I once took them in a big box of those fancy crisps after I'd been to the wholesalers as the receptionist had told me how much she loves them and they get a lot of sweet treats gifted and the staff descended round like flies 😂i guess they end up so busy they eat when they can.

Thank you @Sofas2comfy2move , I too thought they would be jaded by all the sweet treats they get give, I like the idea of a pizza lunch, and of course a thank you card with my handsome boy on the cover. Appreciate the ideas.

In a similar scenario I bought lovely biscuits for the team and nice red wine for my fabulous vet.

Wine would be well received in this house @muddyford 😁
