Spaniel cruciate ligament

After three separate issues with spaniel involving rest, painkillers, they've decided this morning that it might be CL. He's been knocked out for x rays this morning.

Where do we go from here?

I would highly recommend getting a referral to a specialist for surgery if that is what is needed, and also use all available rehab/physio and hydro options afterwards.
It is very common for the opposite cruciate to go due to the imbalance during and after recovery.
However I have known several friends who have avoided this with their dogs due to putting the extra effort in during the recovery process.
Good luck
