Small breed for agility + family friendly

My mum is looking for a third dog. She wants to do agility for fun and her social life. But dog also needs to be family friendly and small enough to fit in the car boot with dogs 1 & 2. We are not talking nuts agility collie type, as that would be not family friendly and too big. What could she consider?

Echoing others, poodle. miniature or toy. Ours would have done agility well before she turned into a lazy old lady but wouldn't have been any good for flyball as she always wants 'her' ball back. She's utterly adorable with my now 6yo DS

Miniature or toy poodle. Very agile and athletic. Highly intelligent. Have you seen them perform at crufts? They are lots of fun too - eager to please and love to entertain. They don’t need to be crossed with other breeds to make doodles, they are perfect just the way they are.
