Can you refluff vet bedding?

Some years ago I won a giant piece of luxury vet bedding, I didn't need all of it so we used half of it in the car as a boot carpet 🤦🏼‍♀️ well, I'd like to use it now for the pets but it's not as fluffy and luxurious as it used to be. Can I revitalise it somehow? It's been washed so it's clean at least!

Wash and tumble dry it
it never goes back to it’s new state but dogs don’t care at all

Tumble drying will fluff it up a bit and you can fluff it up a bit more with a slicker brush but you’ll never get it as fluffy as new. Still warm and supportive after it’s lost its fluff though, so I’m sure the pets won’t mind.
