Growing up I had one called Frankie. He was great but a little sod, always escaping

I've had a Pip, and my J. R girl I have now is Dotty (Dotty by name, Dotty by nature, so is often called 'Potty Dotty'!) I had a male one called Hobbs (Russell Hobbs - clever, eh?!!), but think Doug, or Digger would be good for a boy, too.

CobraChicken · 10/12/2023 03:04

My JRT is a boy so his name's not going to be relevant, but his mum, who lived to the ripe old age of 18, was called "Mai Tai". She was owned by an older lady who must have had a thing for cocktails, LOL!

Highlighta · 10/12/2023 04:59

Not mine, but my neighbours and he comes to visit my two dogs every day without fail. They are great mates 😀

His name is Hercules.

He has such a Herculean attitude, quite typical of JR I'm sure.

I think J'accuse would be a perfect name for a JR.

I hope none of you use your dog's name as your password.

Baldieheid · 10/12/2023 21:01

Phoebe. We usually just use Pheebs and she answers to that happily.

I hope none of you use your dog's name as your password.

If you do then you deserve the problems you bring on yourself.

Re. names, terriers are fun, feisty and bright little dogs so need a name to match IMO.

Ruby ... which occasionally became roobie scoobie and then of course scooby doo.
