Our lovely next door neighbours have recently got a puppy who’s now had his vaccinations and is being allowed Ito the wide world. ChenDog has decided to welcome him by barking like mad every time he sees him. I’ve thrown down treats to try and associate nice things with the pup, and have done a firm no, then reward when he’s quiet, but to be honest I’ve no idea what to do for the best. We’re planning to do a gradual parallel walking intro in the park and then hopefully a play at the secure dog park but again, not sure if that’s the right thing to do?
