2.5 miles plus run in field too much?

Is this too much for a Bedlington terrier x whippet 18 month old? The run in a field is off lead so I guess she only runs if she wants.

I'd say absolutely fine for a medium sized lurcher. Probably could do that then times over. 18 months I'd say is pretty much full grown.

No I don't think so. Terriers can keep going all day. He's not a puppy anymore

Thanks for your replies. We were so careful for the first year with her exercise that it seems really far.

@Playdoughcaterpillar yes she is def very terrier like despite have a full whippet dad.

No, she's an adult at eighteen months. As long as she has the choice to slow down or go at her own pace it wouldn't even occur to me to worry ☺️
