Is my dog cold?

House is 19 degrees, dog has been indoors for the last few hours. Sat next to her and I’ve just noticed her ears feel cold and so do her paw pads.

What breed and are they trying to snuggle under their blankets?

Crossbreed poodle x shih tzu, had a haircut so short coat. Not trying to get under blankets but happy to curl up. Over the last few days I have noticed when she is asleep next to me on sofa I can feel a slight tremble from her haunch area but she was anxious about fireworks so thought it was a hangover from that.

Mine are Labradors and pretty hardly but they cuddle up together and snuggle if cold or make a hole or little burrow in a mass of blankets on their dog. My eldest is 10 and he can and will get in my bed and tuck himself under the duvet. Both of them ask to be tucked in from about October until February - they pick a blanket up drag it over and lie next to me but want the blanket over them and then sigh dramatically

Get an extra blanket and drape over her.

She’s been on the heated throw and ears and paws no longer cold 👍
