Swollen Muzzle and Eyes

My poor black lab's muzzle and eyes are super swollen. He is clearly uncomfortable, pawing them and trying to itch his back. Found him on the landing which is unusual as he's not allowed upstairs.

I guess he has been bitten by something on our run this morning?

Ok to leave till the morning do you think?

Well personally I'd be taking him straight to the vets. I wouldn't expect a human to not seek medical attention if their eyes and face were swollen. He"s also clearly in a lot of discomfort if he's not behaving as he normally would.

Hope DDog is better soon.

Ring your vets ooo number. They may advise you to administer human medicine to tide him over til the morning - my dog tore his cruciate ligament on Christmas Day, and the vet advised me to give a quantity of human painkiller. Obviously an allergy is different, hence asking the experts for advice.

I hope you've taken him to the vets and that he's doing okay.

Update, gave him piriton that evening and again in the morning, the vet saw him, said give him more piriton and he is now fine. £50 later but at least he was checked.
