Was just giving the dog a brush, and think I saw a black animal run through the fur on his head. It was too big to be a flea, and it ran rather than jumped (assuming it wasn't a shadow).
I had a good rummage but couldn't find anything.
He is a Labrador so fairly dense coat but for that fleeting moment, it looked like something run within the fur.
He is on NexGard, and is up to date, he isn't scratching and I've seen no other evidence of anything crawling.
Any ideas what it might be, or did I imagine it? I will be getting a flea comb tomorrow to make sure it isn't those little blighters, but it looked bigger. It may have just been a trick of the light as his fur flicked.
